Dr. Roberts joined West Michigan Orthopaedics in 2003 after graduating from the Grand Rapids Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program. As a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, his practice focuses on total joint replacements and complex revision surgery in addition to general orthopedic care of fractures and more common problems of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Roberts is the Program Director for the GRMEP-Michigan State University Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program, and also is a Clinical Advisor for Spectrum Health working to ensure that the Center for Joint Replacement is one of the highest quality joint centers in the nation. Dr. Roberts serves on a national level as a member of the Evidenced Based Quality and Value Committee for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and also is the Spectrum Health Physician Champion and an Executive Board Member of MARCQI which is a statewide joint replacement registry with the goal of making Michigan the safest place in the nation to have a total joint replacement.
