Ichigo vs Yhwach fight scene in Soul Society | Kurosaki Ichigo is a Quincy?! | Bleach TYBW EP7

Eventually, Akon frees Ichigo and let him enters Soul Society, then Ichigo confronts Yhwach. Upon learning Yhwach is the one who ordered the destruction of the Seireitei, an enraged Ichigo attacks him, only to be taken down with ease. Yhwach tries to stab Ichigo, but the later is saved by Blut Vene and Ichigo engulfs him in a blast of Reiatsu.

Emerging from this, Yhwach informs Ichigo that Quilge's cage was not meant to hold a Quincy. Hinting at a secret regarding Masaki, Yhwach attempts to subdue Ichigo once more, only to be stopped by "shadows". When Ichigo attempts to stop Yhwach from leaving, Jugram Haschwalth cuts the blade of Tensa Zangetsu in two.

The manga made it much clearer that Ichigo attempted to jab Yhwach's eye with his hand before being deflected by Yhwach's elbow.

Here we see a *very* subtle hint of Jugram Haschwalth's Schrift, 'The Balance', when he breaks Tensa Zangetsu; when Ichigo says "You think you won just because you withstood a few of my attacks?", it suggests that Ichigo was 'fortunate' enough to be the FIRST ONE OUT OF THE ENTIRE GOTEI 13 TO DAMAGE YHWACH. Therefore, he was met with the 'misfortune' of Jugram breaking his Bankai.

I love the scene when Kuchki Bakauya(sp) asks Ichigo to save soul society and you see the rain drops evaporating into steam before hitting Ichigo due to his Spiritual pressure. Animation in this new series is gorgeous! Also love all the blood!😂
