I did a mistake 3 years ago by doing a permanent tatoo on my hand, all before I discovered Islam.. Last days I felt very sad and insecure by wanting to somehow remove it and this video put tears in my eyes..

Allah SWT, He won't judge you by your tattoos, He will judge you by your repentance and your heart. He will judge you by how you treat your parents and people around you, even no-Muslims. I'm recent revert myself, just reverted in this February الحمد لله. And I'm so grateful to الله SWT for the Ilm and progress He blessed me with. SubhanAllah 🤲☝️Oh and one more thing, I have a few huge tattoos myself, Astaghfirullah, but I'm pretty sure الله won't ask me why and how did I get them, He will ask me completely about something else.

Subhan’Allah may Allah accept the repentance of less-practicing Muslims with tattoos who turned back to Allah, as well as the new converts/reverts who got them before accepting Islam.

Before being a Muslim I got tattooed, and then I repented to Allah. The problem is people, maybe they look at me in a bad way when they see me hijabi but maybe a tattoo appears down the sleeve ... I have considered erasing them but the tattoos are very large and it would be painful, it would take several sessions (months) and it would also be very expensive, but that's not even the point, I mean: if in the eyes of Allah I am clean, then I do not care how the human eye sees me.

Even when I converted no one judged my they know the meaning one of my past foster mother, and one bracelet with the fingerprint of my deceased dad that was before my converting to Islam. Still it’s a part of who I was. Who I am, and who I become. You can’t erase the past, you can change your future. That’s what I believe when I think of Allah
