Laser Tattoo Removal - Before and After through all the stages

Показать описание

Laser tattoo removal works by shooting laser light into the tattoo, splitting the ink into tiny fragments, making it easier for the body to absorb these small pieces. This allows for the removal of the ink from the body itself. Unlike other tattoo removal procedures, laser tattoo removal prevents hurting the skin when removing the tattoo.

I got a bad tattoo lasered. It was really dark black and the old style tattoo with the wide lines. It took 11 treatments to remove it and now the skin is white where the tattoo used to be. You can even still tell what it was. Luckily it was small enough that they could laser the entire tattoo each visit. I would say it hurt worse than getting the tattoo. I went to another dermatologist and he said it might take awhile but the original skin color will eventually come back.
Edit: It's been more than 4 years since the last laser treatment on my tattoo. The dermatologist was correct. The white areas have filled in with what looks like freckles. There are still white patches that I can see but for the most part I don't think any casual observer notices anything. That was a terrible tattoo and I'm happy it's gone.

Looks like the best tattoo is the one you don't get.

I’m annoyed that my tattoo is taking so much longer than all of these peoples to remove. I have already done 6 sessions and it’s only barely faded.

here's a few things for lessening tattoos
Make sure you consume plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Make sure you have enough vitamin C
make use of herbs which cleanse the liver including milk thistle
Use herbs with infection fighting properties eg dandelion root and burdock and others including garlic
(I learned these and why they work from Chads Tattoo Tactic site )

That turntable tattoo was hella clean though. The lettering was un necessary. You should mention how many weeks in between each session for each example, because that makes a difference on results.

You’d prolly have to go through more sessions if your tattoos is more detailed or bigger up to 15

This was fairly quick, my tats on my arm are simple and not to big and the guy doing the laser say 10-12 sessions

Had my tattoos in my late teens, early 20s, but now in my 30s I just didn't like them any more. Just grew out of it I guess.
I went for Q switch for now as it's just black ink. Pico is much better for colour inks, but also faster at removing tattoos. I am on my 4th treatment so far, four more to go. The pain is bearable.

I have tried EMLA numbing cream once, can find that in most chemists like Boots behind the counter and it works rather well. Try a test first if you're unsure. For it to properly work you have to leave a thick layer of cream on your tattoo for an hour before treatment so your skin, wrap it up in cling film and let your skin absorb loads of it. They can remove any leftover cream at the practice before starting treatment, highly recommend you try if you don't have a high pain tolerance.

For me, I have small letters on the back of my arm which is bearable pain, but the front of my arm with far more ink, hurts loads and takes longer due to being a larger tattoo.
