My mistake in my US Visa interview experience.
I applied for B1 B2 US Visa or US Tourist Visa and I got interviewed in the US Embassy Manila. Check out my US Visa interview video.

One tip, remember to always answer the question in congruent with your online application; no more or less. Also, the embassy will evaluate your application prior your appointment: criminal check, travel history (not just the number of countries). They will check your fb and everything in the web too. Also, Iv been told that the embassy usually decide to either deny or issue a visa even before your visit.

I was also interviewed last Nov 25. I had so many huge red flags but I still gave it a shot. My husband is a us citizen and currently in the US, we have not seen each other in person for 3 years, Hindi din sya permanent resident here, my only travel history was noong OFW ako. The whole time sa interview ko kunot noo si consul.hahah.
On some questions I tried to explain further para ma justify ang sagot. Nakinig naman si consul, I think as long as relevant ang sagot they will not stop you kahit medyo mahaba ang sagot. Nakaka kaba na experience. Before me apat ang na deny ng sunod2. Akala ko ako na ang 5th but thank God naka pasa din ako

I agree you got denied because you mentioned about working in UAE for just a year, she might think you were on tourist visa in UAE but you worked..

USA is one of the restricts to apply Visa on whatsoever unless you have fiance that petition you from US. Mahigpit talaga sila, best of luck sa sunod na apply.

I just got approved today, I was also very nervous because I hired a visa consultant, and they told me that it would take a miracle for me to get a visa. I was so discouraged that I almost did a no-show, but I braved it and went anyway. They said I have no kids, no family in the usa and no reason to return, but a miracle happened and was given a visa. My questions revolved around the attractions I wanted to see and what I knew about them, good thing I did my research.

You don’t have to wish which consul to go to because they already decided before you came so even if you go to the one that looks kinda nice it wont matter because a decision has been made.

They really deny ex OFW. I dont know why. Maaring iniisip nila na mag hahanap ka talaga ng work opportunities doon

Red flags: job is customer service representative, previous ofw, has not traveled to a G7 country, answers might not have matched what were in the ds 160. Nothing to be ashamed of if you were denied of the visa. My Tita got hers on her 5th try.

hi Kuya share ko Lang po last September 26, 2023 nagpainter Interview kming magasawa at sa awa ng Diyos ay nabigyan kami ng 10 yrs multiple visa..tinanong din sa aki ng have you travel before outside d Philippines? my answer is yes then next question are working before yes I am ofw before..the the consul is very smart at window 25, the Sabi niya congratulations is VISA is granted..

Hi. Thanks for sharing your experience. Kindly remember that the consults have a pre-conceived notion that you have an immigration intent, so your goal is to convince them that you are going to leave the US after the duration of your visit. Did you mention about the book keeping job in your application? If not, it is best not to mention it and follow what’s in your application :-) All the best next time.
