many other factors for block paving if we go by just standard sized block paving such as charcoal 100 x 200 from marshals. you have to consider all of the following when prcing up a job.

- ease of access - if its a small tight job labour costs will go up as well as additional costs such as plant hire or anything affected by the time to complete the job will also increase.
- location - rural areas will see increase in cost due to excess delivery costs or builders merchants will increase prices due to lack of competition (an issue where i live)
- loose or bagged - if loose materials aren't an option (there maybe to close enough sand/ stone suppliers) you maybe forced to buy bagged sands and subbase which will increase the cost considerably
- muck away - the cheapest and most convenient way of removing muck away in grab lorries, but if you have to result to taking it away your self or using skips then the cost will also go up considerably.

so your estimated for block paving is very low, doing a driveway even in the cheapest possible blocks in the most perfect of conditions for £80 per meter in next to impossible, these days in my area the cheapest i was able to quote a standard drive which had decent access, skips for muck away was £130m2 at around 150m2 and tbh. they ended up having a tarmac driveway done by a friend of there's for the equivalent of £110m2, and its only been down a few months and holds water in a lot of areas.
