Would be awesome if you explain how can you screw up the base in the first place

I see why alot of people would skimp out on a good base. It's alot of work, even more work than the actual paver/concrete slab.

I am looking at doing a project for paving the ground. Does stamping the ground fix this problem?

I want to replace my patio. Is it better to remove the existing pavers or to pave over?

I have large pillars that have been installed on top of the existing pavers. So if I pull them out I will have to leave the old pavers directly under the pillar to avoid having to remove them all together

Would you still need to do it if soil is clay and compacted

It's funny that you had a video of the leveling sand. This is not the paver base.

I am in Tucson AZ. I have a question on border…do I use steel paver edging? Do I just leave it there after?

12 inches of excavation needed for any paver base. Anything less and it’s a botched base
