Soloing is one of the funnest things you can easily do with guitar, so many ways and things to incorporate, the possibilities are truly endless.

In all honesty, without all the videos on your channels over the years I dont know if I would have stuck with guitar. When you're starting out it is super daunting but your lessons have taken me from knowing 3 chords to learning some more intermediate concepts including theory. Cant say how much I appreciate all the hard work you do for these videos

I keep coming back to the little adlibs Marty does just to demonstrate typical blues, or typical pentatonic runs. “It’s, y’know, this kind of thing…”
So much to learn from those alone.

Again, such a great tip! Get good at a few notes of a improvising, then expand from that, adding one more note. Love it! Start small, leave space....on your way to building something great!

Wow! This gives me a new perspective on how much you can do with only 3 notes! It's all in the rhythm and feeling of the vibe :) Thanks a lot Marty!

As always Marty an excellent lesson that provides real tools for guitarists at all level. You and the other great guitarists online giving your secrets away have really helped with coping with the isolation brought on by Covid. Thanks for being such a great musical ambassador.

Thanks as always Marty, this was exactly what I was looking for as my solos were sounding 'too scaley' as you said so this REALLY helped!

You know, out of all the guitars you demo songs and solos with on your channel, you...and that Tele, are brilliant. Great lesson dude. Cheers mate.

My style.. technique.. and knowledge of the fretboard.. has been improving so dramatically every week just from playing along to your videos it's like unreal... I was stuck at a learning plateau litterly for years until stumbling onto your channel when I decided to buy a guitar when this covid mess started (I had sold all my guitars almost a decade ago because I was so frustrated).. now I have the confidence and skill set to basically attack any song, solos and everything.. I no longer have to hide behind the excuse that I'm only a bar and cowboy chord rhythm player.. thank you so much and keep up the good work :)
