Ask any Arab to write Arabic. He/She will write from Right to Left. Then u ask Him/Her to write Arabic Numerals. He/She starts writing from Left to Right. How on earth can they do that? Actually what the Western world claims as Arabic numerals were stolen from Indian Sanskrit /Devnagari script. And then passed on to the West

Al Ghajali played a good role in spreading number system in West Arab who were not changing Greek alphabetical NJ umber system originated in India. In East Arab was not the problem with India s influence with Bagdad' s Caliphs and mathematicians like Al Kgwarizimi.

Neil is wrong about Al-Ghazali. Neither is that fact correct nor is it realistic for an entire civilization to quit science because of one man and one publication. Science continued on despite Al-Ghazali. Also new research has unearthed information showing that Al-Ghazali was not as portrayed by earlier western historians.
