The City of Springfield responded to comments made by Donald Trump during the presidential debate that Haitian immigrants in the city are eating pets.

Why are Springfield residents saying that ducks and geese have been killed at a park and peoples cats are missing and claims a van was found full of cats. Are all of these residents lying. After watching East Palestine, I struggle to believe city or state officials.

Notice how not one time does he say immigrants are not eating pets or park animals. Just says, “misinformation.” So when it comes out that they knew it was happening before this statement was released they can say well I didn’t lie. It will be a play on words well we knew about the cats, ducks and geese, hadn’t heard anything about dogs yet.
