It's also a very nice touch and a surprising reference to Harry Potter that the tutorial shape for Avada Kedavra is Harry's scar. Felt so nostalgic when playing through this scene 😢

It has a fairly long cooldown to balance it out, but im glad it stuck to the roots of actually being the killing curse.

The evil questline in this game is the epitome of voldemorts saying “Power is everything”, makes you feel the power and I think thats amazing. No nerfing needed. I just hope there are consequences in the story.

It's good that the kill curse is a instakill and has a long reload time to balance it. Glad that they didn't try to nerf it.

That’s the whole point of the killing curse and killing in general. I like how it’s OP. Gives a really great realism factor into the stories actual lore. Makes for great immersion. It’s mostly sad that the Friendly NPCs don’t react and treat you differently after using the easy the way.

Honestly gotta give the devs props for not copping out on this spell. Everyone thought it was going to be a finisher or something similar, but nope, it just one shots everything in the game besides the final boss lol.

Would be interesting to have a kind of morality system in this game, where if you abuse dark magic alot some quests close for you and others open up, like people refusing to interact with you because of your dark magic use etc.

The one thing missing is a gear trait like "avada kedavra mastery", sole effect should've been shortening cooldown by 10-20% so that if you're so inclined, you could theoretically reach 50-60-70-80-90-or even 100% of the cooldown taken off, so that you could fully realize your dream of being a psychopathic murderer to rival Grindelwald or Voldemort.
