Please don't stop doing Common Mistakes, my students love them - I first show them the incorrect sentences and ask them what they would correct, then they watch the vid and compare their educated guesses with what's actually wrong in your examples. Works brilliantly :)

Dave, I have watched all 22 videos and learnt a lot. Thank you so much and I am so grateful. You are doing a great job perhaps a glorious one to empower many thousands. After all knowledge is power.

Excellent video. Everybody makes mistakes. Your vdeos are useful so that the student who is learning don't make those mistakes. Keep on doing these videos.

Thanks so much! It helps me a lot especially in the part you are talking us about construction for+nous and to+verb. I did hear ab to+infinitive verb for, but didn't ab the first one. So, thanks

Thank you Dave! I did not know there is a difference between "to blame" and "to accuse" :) BTW, I have two a little related questions and I would really appreciate if you took a look at them.
1) Would it mean the same as above if I said, "I did not know there WAS a difference between to blame and to accuse"? - in other words, is it normal to use "was" instead of "is" in cases like this?
2) Would it be considered to be correct if I said "The teacher TOLD us the Moon WENT around the Earth" instead of "The teacher TOLD us the Moon GOES around the Earth"? I read in a good book that in "reported speach" cases like that it is up to the speaker/writer whether to use the Present or the Past tenses. Could you please give your opinion on this?
Thank you, Dave!! -Borka

Isn't the position of "only" in the sixth sentence wrong? Doesn't only need to be between the auxiliary verb "can" and the main verb "remember"? I CAN ONLY REMEMBER this rule :)
