Dang man, I had a bodyguard without the built in laser and I loved it, never a malfunction.

You are correct and the S&W Body Guard.

i’ve seen so many posts of people having feeding issues with the new bodyguard it’s unsettling how people still are buying them.

Tried SW380 and laser came on randomly in the holster lighting up my pants. Checked it one day and found that firing pin was broken. Good news they repaired it.

Switched to Ruger 380 for ease of trigger pull.

I’ll add the Kel-Tec PF9. It was actually my first carry gun. I bought it mostly for the price and I didn’t know any better back then. I had nothing but problems with it and it was so poorly designed that it’s the only 9MM that hurt my hand to shoot.

SCCY CPX9 would be a pistol I would NEVER carry.
I started with a S&W Bodyguard 38 Special, then got the M&P Shield 2.0 one of my favorite carry pistols, I got a Diamondback DB9 which is in my opinion more of a micro carry, very easy to conceal but a bit tougher to shoot, now I carry the CZ P10s. I’ve been lucky and have gotten good advice and I’ve been very happy with my carry gun purchases.

Well, batting .750. Had a Hi Point in .45 ACP, while I never conceal carried it, never had a single malfunction. While I sold it, would not hesitate to buy another. The SCCY is my truck gun and have the Bodyguard in my pocket as I type this, has been my primary carry for 10 years until I got a 365 and like tonight, gets rolled out if I'm wearing a tucked shirt, perfect pocket gun.

Any Reliably manufactured, 3" bbl, 6 shot, fixed sights, .357 mag revolver. I was a cop in the 80's/90's and carried wheel guns. When under stress, go with what your body knows..

Beretta Pico, a DB9, a SCCY, anything Taurus automatic before the G3, anything in 25 caliber.

Bought a Taurus Curve for an extra truck gun because it was on sale.
It functioned for about 50 rounds. I gave it away only because someone saw I was about to toss it in a trash can.

Any automatic, revolver is the best answer, I think please educate me if I’m wrong, honestly

Quick tip, everybody, if you are going to get a pistol to conceal carry or just to have for home protection. Don't trust your life or your families lives to cheap low quality guns, like taurus, sccy, ruger, and personal note the bigger the pistol the easier it is to shoot try to find a balance between concealability and shootability

Having worked at a pawn shop for many years & personally handling hundreds of Hi-Point's, I can safely say that entire line is junk

The Hi Point C9 is a great truck/boat/extra gun. I had it for 4 years before I got my 43x. The Glock is better in most ways but my HiPointC9🔺 has never made me question it after using it, I only trusted it more. Now for the Sccy gun, I wouldn't recommend using it as a paper weight.
