I think the nerfs did help, players that are really good with Irelia can still do crazy stuff, the problem was all the people that could 1 v 5 while first timing the champ because of how broken it was. Winrates show this, since she went back from 50% to 47%, (where she should stay)

He played it perfectly give him props stuns them all with e, negates most of the damage with w and kennen comes in other wise he would have just died with maybe a single kill.
