Watch the official trailer & clip compilation for Wonder, a drama movie starring Jacob Tremblay, Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson.

Based on the New York Times bestseller, Wonder tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie's extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can't blend in when you were born to stand out.

“If they stare, let them stare. You can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.” That quote was so heart warming! ❤️

I promise, this movie will make a difference in your life. 4th grade me was sitting in a classroom with my attention under the spell of a teacher who was reading Wonder aloud. Still, it meant very little to me. I went through middle school with this book in my heart. I read it 16 times and completed 6, A projects on it. Every teacher I wrote about it for told me that they were amazed with my understanding. When I told them how many times I had read it, they were shocked. My sixth grade teacher even told me I made her cry because she is a mom and said that it was so nice to see kids she had the privilege to teach really understanding how to chose kind. She told me that I was a student she wanted her kindergarten aged daughter to be like. I'm a freshman in high school now. I feel like I'm surrounded by kids who never learned to chose kind. This story seems kinda incredible but I promise it is 100% true. This passed summer, I was watching my previous sixth grade teacher's now third grade daughter, we shall call her Ella even though that isn't her name. My teacher and I stayed very close and live just a neighborhood away. I watched her daughter a couple days a week. We were at a playground. I kid you not, when I was watching this girl on the monkey bars and pushing her on the swing, I saw a girl with an evident, but not as severe, craniofacial difference sitting on a swing by herself with her mom. I took Ella's hand and just walked her over to the little girl. I asked the girl what her name was, and she told us, we'll say it's Heather even though it's not . Eventually, Ella's grip on my hand loosened the and I could tell she relaxed. The girls mom seemed completely and utterly amazed. After a little warming up on of both girls' part, I was eventually able to convince them to play together. When they ran off, the girls mom said to me, "I cannot thank you enough. There is nothing I would ever be able to say to make up for what you just did for my daughter as well as me." I told her about how I read Wonder and how I was just babysitting (she thought Ella was my sister.). The Heather'S mom asked me who I sat for so I told her my teachers name and ended up giving her phone number. I took the mothers phone number as well. Eventually, I had to collect Ella to take her home. We walked, side by side, on the sidewalk and she looked up at my and said, "Thanks." When we got back to her house, her mom, my teacher, was crying on the phone. I told Ella to hurry upstairs so I could talk to her mom. I found out that Heather's mom had already called Ella's mom. When she got off the phone, she hugged me so tight. She said, "Thank you so much! I always knew you were a special kid." Since then, I have read Wonder to Ella, and I just saw the movie with her and her mom. It's such a powerful feeling to know that you made a difference in someone's life. That day, I made a difference in Ella's, her mom's, Heather's mom's, and most importantly, Heather's lives. Also, it changed my life. So go out, make a difference in someones life and change the world!

This is one of the few movies that actually have a life lesson. Horror, violence and so much more is the motive for the movies we watch. Well done for making this.

*You can't blend in when you were born to stand out.* My new favorite quote besides "Before you two come up with another clever idea to get us killed. Or worse, expelled!"

To everyone in this comment section saying "Auggie looks cute.I'd be his friend in elementary school." I call BULLSH*T! I've been in that boy's place. You may not be the person to bully him, but you'd be a part of that 99% of the class that never wanted to eat lunch with him or pick him as a partner for your project.

Bullies are so mean, they think if there mean to other people it will make them stronger .If you are getting bullied by someone you should stand up for yourself if you don't they'll think you're weak and they won't stop bullying you .So you should stand up for yourself and other people that are getting bullied.
