There's a lot of people out here running around with childhood wounds, triggering other people, then cutting them off when they set healthy boundaries.
When you've healed and are protecting your peace a lot of people want to come through and challenge that because they see you're happy and don't need another person to validate you, don't need a relationship to complete you and simply envy you.
They want to try to make you act out so that brings you down to their level instead of them doing the work to level up to where you are.

Which is why I have learned to be patient in my wait for that type of man. Tirelessly working on my character and healing my traumas. I used to go with men who could not match me in hopes that they would be inspired to rise up to that expectation. They never did and instead, I kept disappointing myself by even trying with them. I wanted a partner so bad, that I misplaced my loyalty and love. It's been a long time since I dated and I value the peace this solitude has brought me. It will be a beautiful thing when I finally meet my match. No rush, I have my whole life to get to him and he has his whole life to get to me. When the time is right, our paths will cross and become shared. The two shall become one. Then, as commanded by the Most High, we will go forth to be fruitful in our love and multiply it. Ask and you shall receive, but only when you are deemed ready to receive it.

I found a man like that. And then i was here finding that i was the one with the most trauma and lack sensitivity management. His mind is just so put together i was shocked and angry soometimes because i didn't know better. But we had something. We married young and he didn't let me down one day. I am 28 today and but i am glad he is in my life. I love him. It is about growing together and facing both of your demons. Hard sometimes but worth it, as everything that has value.

Grateful for my husband who’s not over here trying to tell me to better regulate my emotions while 8 months pregnant chasing after a toddler who won’t sleep at night BUT instead holds me in those difficult times precisely because he is emotionally intelligent. And yes, I try my best.
