Unlocking a Cure for Heart Disease

Hear about a potentially game-changing project to 3D print portions of the human heart. Led by Dr. Michael Laflamme at UHN’s McEwen Stem Cell Institute, the project was awarded $23.6M in funding from the Government of Canada’s New Frontiers in Research Fund.

The funds will enable Dr. Laflamme, along with Drs. Sara Vasconcelos, Stephanie Protze, Gordon Keller and international collaborators to transform the landscape of heart disease therapies.
