THERE ARE slight differences in EXP. Rank of gate is dependent on the gate level, highest level gate in your current pool will be S-rank which gives the most EXP. As a F2P and only using essense stone on rate up banner, always go for S-rank gates.

The thing I don’t like is how basically the only way you can make xp is from afk rewards. Doing all 11 gates gets you maybe 20k xp, but your afk rewards gets you 40k granted you wait long enough. But what’s even worse is the insane amounts of levels you need to level up. From 40 to 41 it’s around 100k, that’s at least 2 days. And after you get level 41 you get maybe 4 or 5 story missions before you reach another level wall and have to wait around for 2-3 days now.
