Last night I heard my upstairs neighbors hurling verbal abuse at their little boy. The mother started in and then the father. The little boy started crying. I heard the father yell that he was going to kick his ass! Some people should never have children. If you don’t have any patience don’t have kids!!

I'm 61 too and I remember being outside all day. And in fact we didn't even want to come home when we were called for supper. And after supper we were back out until the street lights came on. Such a shame kids are obsessed with technology and don't know their neighbors. There are kids in every house on my street and they don't even say hello to each other. What a different world. Makes me think what it will be like in ten years, twenty years??

Toddie is one channel I immediately hit the "like" button as soon as I enter "her world". I want her content to be seen by more people. With this shyt show of a world we are living in, IE; Gypsy Rose, J-Star, Eugenia Cooney, just so many people being rewarded for bad behavior it is so refreshing seeing someone who actually cares, has integrity and great content. More people need to know good people are still available on our tiny little devices. Toddie, if you had a baby registry, I would actually support that ..😊

I have lived in several states, with the state I am in now. The neighborhood I live in, all the kids are playing outside and in the streets. There is no playground or pool. My husband made a comment about the kids playing in the roads with their ball and I told him that I just love ❤️ the sounds of kids playing outside. That was my childhood. It makes my heart full to see that there are some areas that are like that today.

I love this video. I am a Door-Dasher and am at grocery stores more than I ever thought I would be. And it amazes me how often I see a mother doing the shopping with her children while she iis on the phone. And yes, most of the time it is in the "Urban" communities but not always. I was just thinking about this yesterday so the timing of this video is perfect. I mean, while driving their cars, at the parks, everywhere with their children and on their phones. I can't imagine what is so important that you need to be on the phone the entire time you are grocery shopping or pushing your child in a swing. And I just hate anyone who talks on the phone while driving but especially with kids in the car. I know for sure the children feel they are not the priority and I believe it will affect them in the long run knowing their parents couldn't put that dam phone down and spend "quality time" with them. Sorry to ramble but this is one issue that really gets me going. I often want to say something but I know I will just be a "Karen" and maybe, but I sometimes wonder if the parents are even aware of the harm it is causing their children. If you are a parent on the phone all the time, I promise you it is affecting your children. I was heavily neglected as a child and have low self worth and you never want your children to grow up thinking they were not worth more than that conversation. Last thing, when my now 21 year old Son and I used to drive around and saw someone on the phone, we sang a little jingle and motioned with our hands to hang up the phone. I just remembered that. He was so cute!! Have a great day y'all!!!

I guess I'm old school. My son is 13 and has no cell phone and no social media. I feel social media is harming our children's brains and how they interact with each other. I'm glad my boy is easy going and doesn't even ask to be on social media. He loves all the regular boy things like riding his bike, going fishing, and is literally obsessed with walking trails in the woods behind our home looking for "interesting" bugs to bring home to terrorize me with 😂😂
I'll take that any day over the spoiled rotten, technology obsessed, rude, and entitled children we're seeing so much of today.
