2005 Honda Accord 4 cylinder automatic four door with 230k miles was burning oil so we dropped in a JDM K24a to replace the k24a4
I wish I had known that every single piece had to be changed over but most videos are either upgrading / racing or swapping in a junkyard engine. So here’s a quick rundown on video.

Vtec (variable valve timing) oil pressure switch is what I meant to say instead of vtec solenoid sensor. And guess what, that thing was leaking oil out of the electrical connector even though it looked fine!! So double check that if you’re chasing an oil leak.

Did you run into any issues using the JDM fuel rail, . Also did you swap any of the sensors or just use the JDM ones?

I did the exact same engine swap. Added the sensor to the vtec s valve as well. Runs great but, have the engine light come on about oil pressure to vvt. Have you had this happening ?

I’m about to take on this same challenge. Did you order the JDM motor form one of those importers that claim 30-50, 000 miles on the motor? And if so did everything you needed come off your motor and mount to the JDM one or did you have to source other parts? What all came on your JDM motor?
