Mr McMickle was about 13 years older than his wife and died around 30 years after her but obviously never remarried as he’s buried with her. How sweet

46th Infantry Regiment was formed during the spring of 1862 with men from Upson, Schley, Harris, Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Webster, Marion, and Talbot counties. The unit served in Georgia, then South Carolina where it was involved in the conflicts at Secessionville, and Gaston and Frampton's Plantation. In May, 1863, assigned to General Gist's Brigade, it moved to Mississippi. After taking part in the siege of Jackson the regiment joined the Army of Tennessee and fought on many battlefields from Chickamauga to Atlanta, then saw action in Tennessee and North Carolina. In December, 1863, this unit totalled 628 men and 513 arms, but was greatly reduced when it surrendered on April 26, 1865. Its commanders were Colonels Peyton H. Colquitt and Samuel J.C. Dunlop, Lieutenant Colonel William A. Daniel, and Major A.M. Speer.

I just wanted to tell you that you can help prevent TICKS by taking B1, Thiamine. It makes your blood less appetizing to the Ticks and mosquitoes! Also, the old Skin So Soft oil works great! I'm a Cemetery person too! Love your videos! GOD bless

What a great project! If you end up needing help, Boy Scout troops often fix up old cemeteries. I love the name Cathaline - how unique!

Beautiful cemetery and headstones, even being so terribly overgrown. Wonderful work you, Robert, Cody and Brian are doing.

So very sad that they are all just left and forgotten, especially the little children there. Thank you for helping to uncover those that were lost and for remembering them by saying their names, this world needs more kind, good people such as yourself and the rest of the Sidestep team. Thank you, much love. xx💖

Having laid my daughter to rest March of last year I would hope her resting place never becomes forgotten and overgrown like these poor souls resting places.

You could tell where you had cleared part of this Cemetery. It made such a difference and Cody helping. Can you imagine someone not knowing where their relative was buried and then to see it on one of your videos. That would be so incredibly beautiful. Im so looking forward to seeing part 3. Thanks Robert 🌿🌳🌳🌿

What I take away from Robert's videos is that we will all probably end up forgotten. It may take 100 years, may 200, maybe 300. But, in the end, Mother Earth will reclaim us all.

They seem to be in clusters unless there are some not marked. Thank you Robert. You need a water bag that has a hose in it. Devin has one for motor cycle riding. Good find.
