My maiden name. Shenandoah means "deer" or "running deer" in the Oneida language. In the 80s- I was a bank teller and I met an elderly customer who belonged to an accapella group. He sang this for me in the lobby of the bank, lol.

I played Gabriel the summer of 1993 in Conway, SC … I still remember most all of the songs from the play! I remember we had to rearrange the vocals because my voice was much higher than the young lady who played opposite me! Man I miss those days
