How to Assembly Ikea Furniture - MALM

Thank you for posting this video. We watched it twice and assembled our Hopen 6 drawer in just over an hour. We sort of did an assembly line by putting the dowels, screws and receivers in all six drawer panels and fronts at once - set them up in position and went to work. Thank you again. Watching helped us understand what to do next in advance.

yes! Inside the cabinet (without the drawers) upper left and right corner for screws!

The side pieces of the drawers are some left and some right.
You should pay attention when you position them so that they have the right orientation. You should check the good drawers assembly.

Leave them as they are. A couple of plastic screws per side (left and right) lock the rear panel.
You should get all the top edges aligned.

Thanks for posting this video. I do like the video. However, since I'm having some difficulty putting together the drawers of an IKEA Malm 6 Drawer Chest, it would be helpful to slow things down and show details of each step. The assembly of the frame was reasonably easy but the drawers are giving me difficulty.

Have you figured out a way to assemble the dresser so it's more durable? I moved once & all of my dressers & Malm bed fell apart. Hopefully, you can figure it out. Thanks!

With a little hammer pounds the white plastic screws. Shots shall well aligned to the screws!

Also for me it was't easy initially, but if you analyze with care the instructions you can understand the right way.
Maybe I can't modify the video. However slow down any detail would make this video too long.
I'm sure you've assembled it while I write this reply ;-D
