IKEA instructions are terrible. This video saved my life! Thank you for your detail and accuracy. Just wanted to add that I just realized that you cannot open more than one large drawer at a time. I'm considering of buying the malm since the drawer interior height beats out every dresser I've seen so far (within a similar price range). I was also considering the Tvilum Scottsdale 5 Drawer Chest since it's a little longer in the back but a bit shorter in height. The ikea looks amazing though. 😄

I would like to thank ikea for making boxes that can’t be opened without destroying them, then forgetting to pack two sets of rails and then requiring me to bring every part back to exchange for an entire box just to get the two missing parts.

The video is very helpful. However only one Floor had the two holes for the metal piece. Do I need this metal piece?
