RAW or JPEG?

RAW and JPEG are two file formats that digital cameras can store images in. There are lots of situations where shooting in RAW is better – but also many situations where you should choose JPEG. In this tutorial you will learn which setting is best for which situations:

Shoot in RAW: Live music, bright landscapes, fine art, detail shots, black and white shots.
Shoot in JPEG: Sports, fast-action shots, everyday snapshots, things you want to share immediately, or if storage space is an issue.
