I’m a libertarian and I think some sort of a universal basic income would be a good idea. Not enough to live off of but enough to invest, save or spend. Jesse Ventura did a similar type of thing when he was governor of Minnesota and in Alaska they have UBI. Milton Friedman was a supporter of UBI and he is the godfather conservative economist. When we aren’t sending money to Ukraine and Yemen we could instead take that money and give it to us.
