2015 Hennessey Mustang Runs 195 MPH!

On February 4, 2015 John Hennessey test drove the 2015 HPE700 Supercharged Ford Mustang GT to a top speed of 195.2 mph at the Continental Tires Proving Grounds in Uvalde, Texas. i think this can go more than 200 mph to be honest look at how fast from 190 to 195. this car has more potential, but needs to change gear ratios. And to people saying Hellcat is faster please watch how this car accelerates again with glasses.

That is what separates a regular boss from a leader. John Hennessey has the balls to test his own creations. Not hire a driver to do it. He is actually endangering himself for the sake of the team, and that is why I have massive respect for that man. Keep up the great work!!!

clearly the car is capable of soooo much more.   its funny how so many "supercars" with gobs of aero in there deisgn simply crawls to get near the 200 mark.  while this thing is barely in full stride when when it slams into the limiter.   mechanically this car seems like it could push a near 215.   Thats huge considering this car doesnt even have the fully meat and potatoes exterior treatment

A statement has bee made:

1.  Hennessey prayed to GOD for his team, their efforts, their vision and goals.   Any one who has seen this video with not be surprise of the 200++ mph once Hennessey and Company (HennCo) let loose this 2015 Mustang Mean Machine,

2.  HennCo achieved 195 mph with their 2015 Mustang 700 horse power (Their Camaro 1100 horsepower at 203 mph and Cadillac CTS-V 1200 horsepower at 220 mph.
3. 195 mph on an Oval with a 1.1 mile straight.  The Camaro, Cadillac(Toll road)  and other high end performers were done on straights 4 to 5 times longer than a 1.1 mile straight.
4.  Hennessey not only drove his 2015 Mustang to and from location; by fill up with consumer gasoline.  Fresh oil change; and you know a little used oil in your vehicle performs better his oil. Those other top end performers vehicles are carted (towed) in to performance location.
5.  Not only did he drive his 2015 Mustang 200 miles for an top end assessment; he drive it home after the assessment.  Any you car junkies rave about the Honda/Acura NSX being a daily driver.

A very strong statement made.  Ford Racing and numerous tuners may have been caught sleeping.  Perhaps not; GT350/Shelby GT500.  I cannot wait until HennCo touches the 2015 Mustang EcoBoost.  I am saving my change.

Although I'm not a Mustang loyalists I must admit I'm impressed with the 2015's, especially since the IRS. But what I'm most impressed with is how discreet Hennessey keeps the appearance and noise. I might not WANT you to know I've got 700hp.

@Robert Wolfe Yes, he ran out of gears. But I'd think they would change the ratios, allowing for more speed in 6th instead of converting the transmission to a 7-speed. I'd honestly say this thing is capable of doing 215mph with enough room & correct gearing lol. Also, it makes ~700 horsepower at the crank, so maybe 575hp to 625hp at the wheels to account for drivetrain loss.

Of course they have to pray to the mighty GOD what would happen if a tire exploded in that sort of speed he would of died instantly in that Ford Mustang it's just a split second that can take away your life so don't talk SHIT guys in your comments below. Nick22
