Don't know if you guys were able to see Jay's TV show (Jay Leno's Garage) but i think it's more than a worthy placeholder for Top Gear until it returns and I'll continue to watch JLG on both YouTube and TV after TG returns.

actually the first mustang to go over 200 mph was the last GT500 with the 5.8L Trinity engine. Top speed wise that is.

Dear Jay thank you for Uploading these Videos, but why do you review not your own cars? The best thing of your show was to see your expertise and your experiences of your cars, I would appriciate if you present your own cars like your Mercedes E55 or some other Cars of your Collection. The Shelby GT500 (2013 I think) was the 1st production Mustang to break 200mph, Carroll Shelby was in the car as a passenger @ the time. The video is here on youtube.

I have been really enjoying these series of videos. The casual style and Jay's pure enthusiasm for the cars has really shown through. There is a guaranteed way too ruin that though and that is by turning it into a tv show that HAS to be entertaining by the standards that network people think is entertaining. So they have to make it a shouty, fast edited and remove all interesting information from the show and render it cringe worthy and unwatchable. It was great while it lasted, thanks Jay, I hope this decision was made as a way too preserve the idea of JLG as it had maybe not become feasible to carry it on in it's old format but hopefully not too just cash in on it's current success . Best of luck with it either way.
