Thank you! More and more I'm starting to believe that the first step towards Christ starts with humility. The best thing I ever did when I was an atheist was humble myself and start asking, "Am I wrong? Am I being deceived? etc." And slowly I started to come to Christ. But that first moment of humility, to acknowledge you might be wrong, was vital.

I think pride often closes us off to gratitude. Pride says “I did this, it was ME who did this, because I’M so great I did this.” rather than “wow I’m lucky to have had the good fortune to be able to have accomplished this.”
