First Look at 5H's Normani Kordei & Val's DWTS Rehearsal & Team Building

Normani Kordei and her Dancing with the Stars partner Val Chmerkovskiy are giving fans a sneak peek at what we can soon expect to see on the dance floor, and it looks like these two already have full mirror ball potential.

Beauty and the Beast may be dropping any day now, but the ballroom scene that’s promising even more hype is set to star BOOTY and the Beast.

Normani Kordei sure has a lot in store for us this year, from unleashing a brand new Fifth Harmony music to competing for the mirror ball trophy on the 24rd season of Dancing with the Stars. But in order to achieve all those goals, one must have a solid foundation of support, and that’s where Val comes in. The two, dubbing themselves as Booty and the Beast, have been hard at work rehearsing for their ballroom debut come March 20th, and they even shared some flawless behind-the-scenes footage.
But to get to know each other on a much more personal level, the dynamic duo also partook in some good ol’ team bonding, so Val had fans submit questions for a Q&A between he and Normani, and… well, they may have some work to do in this department…
Thankfully these two have ALL season long to get to know one another, and the support has already been rolling in, especially from Fifth Harmony, who will undoubtedly be supporting her every step of the way. Speaking of the girl group’s new era, Normani recently covered Rolling Out Magazine where she dished on what’s to come for the new foursome, promising the best year yet, saying QUOTE, “2017 with Fifth Harmony is going to be absolutely amazing. We’ve been through so much and we’ve worked our butts off to get to where we are right now, and I just know that we have so much more to offer.”

She goes on to reveal that last year was only the beginning for the girls, saying, “I feel like we haven’t actually reached our full potential yet. I feel like in this year, it’s definitely going to happen. You will definitely get a new sense of who we are, and that is stepping into womanhood.”

And when it comes to juggling the two projects, Normani seems to have a solid grasp on the scheduling and also praises her tight-knit team for keeping her balanced during such a demanding time. She said, “Obviously, with the group being the number one priority, and me doing my own solo projects, I think that it’s just about balance, keeping myself centered, and being happy and healthy. I also have an amazing team around me. It definitely helps when you have your mom on the road; I can’t imagine doing this without her. She keeps me grounded and she keeps me sane.”
