📖 This is an audio taken from a recent interview I had with Harry. He regaled me with a story from his past, when Jehovah's Witness Governing Body member Stephen Lett was his Circuit Overseer, and by his suggestion, fired from his job after being disassociated.

Abuse of power. Im not sure why you didn't sue? There are laws against that. It goes two ways.

There's a circuit overseer with way too much power. And the elder that was the owner of the company should never have been on the judicial committee. That seems like a real conflict of interest. There's no way he could claim 'I fired you because I don't like you" if he was one of three who made the decision to DF him. If that had been me, there would have been a very noisy wrongful termination suit naming the owner of the company and Stephen Lett.

Wrongful termination should have been used, not religious discrimination. But that's how corrupt the org is.

That is so wrong. I worked at a company owned by a jw years ago. There were a handful of JWs working there, all of them in the department I was in. There was a young JW man that worked in the welding shop. He was disfellowshipped but never fired. The company employed a majority of non JWs and it was partly owned by a non JW.
