In my teens a recruiter of Scientology tried to interest me and another girl on the street in San Francisco into looking into it.
She immediately told him strongly, " no we don't need it "!
He was a little amused, and said.." I can see that."

Scientology gets its members into some dark stuff from what I hear. My stepbrother has lived in Clearwater Beach, FL for 40 years. He used to love his gorgeous house on the beach. He still loves the house but hates the Scientologists who took over Clearwater.
I am just outwardly hostile to them. I hate religion, to begin with. However, a religion based on a science fiction authors' ramblings is just ridiculous. Plus, they make people disappear.
These nut jobs always approach me in the Tampa airport. My friends get a kick out of me sending the Scientologists off looking brain dead. I am so glad that I only visit that area.
