We discuss life after death, salvation, and whether good works can truly save us. Like many, she hopes to go to heaven by praying, giving to charity, and repenting of sins. But when I explain why repentance alone cannot save, the conversation takes an unexpected turn.

Please pray for me. I'm 33 years old and I'm a single dad and I'm suddenly having a bunch of strange health problems for the past 3 months. None of the doctors have answers for me yet. It's taking forever for them to do anything... I'm scared... dealing with a lot of pain and numbness and shaking al.ost every night. The ER tells me to see a specialist and the specialist takes months to get in. Thank you and may God bless you.

Update: Thank you all again for your prayers! I'm happy to say that I am feeling much better! Praise God! I still don't know exactly what was causing my problems but I have had a noticeable improvement lately and only good things to say from the doctors. Mariam is such an intelligent, beautiful, devout woman. Praying that she turns her devotion to the true God who bled and died for her sins and that she will find peace & rest in knowing that she is saved by his perfect sacrifice. Muslims are taught that Jesus was never crucified so when they are presented with this crucial part of the gospel they find it hard to accept. Looking at these ladies, I can see myself of how I was. I came to faith on a story that was told to me when I was younger, the story of Moses. How God hardened Pharoahs heart. That day, a deep sorrow came over me, and I got scared, thinking that God would also harden my heart if I kept rejecting Him. I prayed in silence and asked Him to please not harden my heart until I came to Him and asked for forgiveness. A week after that, I woke up with a joy in my heart and a hunger for the Word of God. Sharing the Gospel is so important. If I share the Word with someone right now, they might only see/understand it 50 years from now, how sweet that day would be.
