Convertible Term Life Insurance Explained

Conversion - the term life insurance policy that's so important you MUST have it.

Conversion allows you to exchange your term policy for a permanent life insurance policy WITH NO MEDICAL EVIDENCE. It's likely not something you find important when you purchase your term policy, but if you become uninsurable (hey, stuff happens) before the end of your term, this option allows you to lock in life insurance for the rest of your life despite being uninsurable. If your term policy does not have conversion, you'll be out of luck for any more life insurance at that time. Always make sure that your term life insurance policy offers conversion.
