14:42 He didn't start using that kind of pickup just because he wanted a change of pickup. It's because he moved to 24 frets, which meant a humbucker had to move "back" towards the bridge, which meant the sound would change somewhat. - So he figured to push "forward" the pickup-area as much as possible, he could use a single-coil sized humbucker and also have it pushed as much up against the end of the fretboard as possible. - This is to try and retain that more full and rounded sound you'd get with a humbucker on a 22-fret guitar.

“He likes that warm liquidy tone” *looks directly down the lense*
That is why Rabea is the best (2:18)

My wife graduated HS with Joe . He basically taught Stevie because believe it or not, Joe and Steve went to same Carle Place HS . My brother in law took lessons from Steve, they graduated same year . Steve signed his yearbook " Keep on playing '' and at 59 he still plays and is a great guitarist ta boot .

How about a shootout between a Hendrix rig and an SRV rig?

Vai may have more of the technicalities, but Satch will always have that gorgeous tone!

My favourite video of the year, as one of those who also discovered Joe Satriani by watching the Saville Guitar Expo concert.
A few of my favourite Satch tunes are Friends, Always..., Ten words, Golden room, Crazy Joey, Butterfly & Zebra etc. etc. etc.

this is the best Rob's played in a while, must be nice to just let loose every once in a while

Lee should've taken the Guthrie signature Charvel to have a G3 jam with the guys at the end.

Great concept. One more could spawn form here. Signature guitars vs their standard counter parts. That could help the potential buyers torn between std and Sig models to understand the differences and what to expect and what not to. How are guitars different or better than each other in tone, feel quality and of course a very valuable opinion on if it's worth to part with extra money, more often than not for the signatures.

The newest les paul standards/traditionals vs their slash signature counter parts from both Gibson and epiphone could make for epic insightful 4 guitar video. and fans would get to hear them!!

Oh my god I totally lost it with those squeaky toy noises when they were feeling the necks. Don't know why I found it so funny, but it cracked me up big time.

Some of the best jams ever on the channel. Also somewhat ironically the jam at the end reminded me of Voices by Dream Theatre.
