Sean Bean is an excellent actor. His portrayal of a would be tough mercenary in this movie is in my opinion one of its highlights during its first half. As for De Niro, as usual, he is topnotch as the lead, and the remaining cast, including Jean Reno, Stellan Skarsgård, Natascha McElhone (who, apart from a great actress, is very beautiful, ) Skipp Sudduth, Michael Lonsdale, Feodor Atkine, Ron Perkins, and, of course, the great Jonathan Pryce, as well as the remaining actors involved in this gripping thriller is simply outstanding. Kudos, once more, to the master of suspense who is John Frankenheimer, director of such master pieces of the genre as "The Train, " "Seven Days in May", and "The Manchurian Candidate, " among others must see and timeless classic movies. Thank you for sharing.
