Here's a dark theory for everyone. Dexter the adult TV show is in fact Dexter as an adult. He's got a sister named Debra, a lab, is a scientist, has a disregard for others, and a secret that must be kept at all cost. Debra is also a cop so is always interfering lol.

Very good video. As a mental health practitioner, I'm curious about everyone's thoughts on one sign (often confused with symptom) that is seen regularly. Dexter's repetitive use of his wrench, that he referred to as "calming." Owen, you've done your homework for this video. Thoughts?

There's so many holes in this crazy theory like come on like seriously, Dexter is suppose to be a genius so of course he doesn't relate with other kids his age, and find it hard to make friends, and him working in his lab all day away from people, is a common trope for genius scientists in fiction to be portrayed as antisocial, refusing to have people around them so they can work in peace all alone, and as for The size of The lab it's been shown several times to be mostly built underground, so it isn't all in The house, which still doesn't explain fully why it's so big but it's a cartoon so who cares.

So that's why I love this show so much. It reminds me of my life kind of. Because I am a shut in. But I do go to work 5 to six days a week. I'm never gonna be the wisest. But I am a B- in brain power. However I do understand being lonely better then most. And its why I do have my own little world playing videogames with my friends.

But I am taking every day one day at a time.

And for the record you would have a mental illness too if your brother died from getting sick. 😢😭 I may never get over my griving of the loss. But yeah. Just one day at a time. Living life my way.

I could be wrong about this idea. But Dexter seems to be incompetent, despite his intelligence. Because he is unwilling to learn from his mistakes. In addition, Dexter has no common sense and wisdom, which can make him more incompetent and dangerous. I understand that geniuses make mistakes. But the truth is that Dexter and other geniuses can be very incompetent in a way that they can engender trouble. They are unwilling to learn from their mistakes, because of their arrogance. Thus, geniuses can make themselves not humble.
