It happened to my budgie in around april 2022 and I tried for the whole day going around like a 1 or 2 mile radius just playing bird sounds and checking trees and I decided to pray (it was ramadan so it got accepted) and a few days later someone messaged me from a post i made on bird rescue website saying someone on facebook found them. Apparently my budgie flew to an ex-budgie breeder so he knew what he was doing and I got him back a few days later. If its been a couple days and no one has found your budgie, its probably dead but theres a chance someone found your budgie and is taking good care of it so dont be too sad.

3 years ago my budgie Crypto escaped, and i got him back through my other bird, my other bird had a loud voice, so my budgie came back the next morning, and he learned that it's not so fun being out there, the other wild birds chased him away, because he was a budgie, and the wild birds were sparrow and pigeons, and still too this day Crypto is on my shoulder right now! ❤❤

This happened to me a month ago one of my two birds escaped and i went outside and i called her name as loud as i could amd she HEARD ME and the she came back, went to a tree, and i aprroached her, i put my fonger she stepped to my hand and just like that i got her inside the house

The same happened to me a few months ago and I was devastated and started knocking on my neighbors door to see if they have seen her and screaming her name….later on she hears me and starts to chirp really loudly that I peaked and saw me and went flying to the front door of our house while me after her running and well when she saw me she got on my finger and was happy and I brought her home and then she got all happy

I also really recommend getting custom leg rings with your phone number on it. Aluminum ones for smaller species(e.g lovebirds, budgies) and stainless steel ones for larger species like macaw and cockatoo. It'll make it much easier for anyone who find your bird to contact you.
But make sure you pick the correct size for your bird and have professional person to put it on (vets or trusted breeder), or you might hurt your bird.

I had. A bird once she was my only true best friend I was at my cousins house and then my dad came to pick us up then he always used to say that she flew away but it was a joke. This time he wasn’t joking she actually. Flew away then 2 days after I got 2 love birds (my bird was a budgie) I got her for my 6th birthday and I had her for 2 years I’ll never forget you Bluey 😢

Find a budgie video on youtube with budgies chirping. Play it as loud as you can, they will naturally be drawn to those sounds.

I remember that around 2 or 3 years ago, one of my budgies had escaped from an opened window and since it was (and still is) the first time one of my birds escaped i was freaking out, he didn’t go far though he was at a large tree in-front of my house. At the time i also had 2 other birds and i decided to put there cage outside and i was keeping a close eye on them through the window, after about what seemed 30 minutes passed, i heard a bunch of chirping outside and that’s when i saw my escaped budgie land on the cage. I immediately ran outside and grabbed him, GENTLY and put him inside the cage. I felt so relieved😭❤

This happened to me when I lived in Kingston, New Hampshire. My budgie escaped for three days two nights in the forest he was his name was Teddy brewski I’ll never forget it. He was three days two nights, and he finally came home my mother at the time rest in peace, mom. Could not believe that brewski came home after being out in the wilderness for three days you claimed it. It was the wilderness lol she was from Italy, but he did come home❤

One time my budgie came out of his cage on his own and the kitchen door that led outside was open and he came flying in thank god he wasn't aiming for the door he came straight to me and my mom closed the door im just happy hes all well and safe 🦜❤️

Yesterday my budgie died, he was only 1 year old. He used to sleep a lot but he seemed fine, he was eating well and playing with his friend. A few days before his death, he was actually quite active and wasn’t sleeping as much but he started biting which had never done. Then he slept at the bottom of his cage (not normal) and in the morning he was dead. This was so unexpected because he seemed healthy. Why would he die? Did he have a chronic illness?

Both my bird flew out the opened door at different times. Both times I played Sun Conure sounds from YouTube really loud on the porch & they came to the tree in front yard. Then I put my phone with conure sounds still blaring into the living room and the second one came in just like the first one did (these were months apart). It worked for me!
