This is a list of what to search for to find most of the mod-gamemodes and other popular misc stuff (like balloon race, cp_orange, trade servers) that aren’t necessarily mod-gamemodes but are definitely different versus vanilla TF2.

“Extinct” as in the mod no longer exists. If it ever came back what’s listed is the way to find a server. Some mods are only mostly extinct and actually rarely comeback. Sometimes servers run a bunch of mods and rotate into an extinct mod making it playable for 15 minutes or so.

If you search Gamemode madness in that server you vote for gamemode and a lot of gamemode ar in the server

TF2 community servers are only achievement, VSH and Deathrun.
