This dead sea is a saltwater lake touching the borders of Israel, the West Bank, and Jordan. Because of the abundance of salt and minerals in this area, the salinity level of this sea is 10 times that of the normal seas, which takes its density to 1240 kg/m3. Because of this high density, you may see people floating on its water without any effort. No life exists in this sea due to its high salinity level, hence it got its name as the Dead Sea.
We all know that anything we throw in the normal water, sinks. But only 1 liter of water from the dead sea contains 350 grams of salt and minerals, whereas ocean water contains only 35 grams of it. When you take bath in this water, the density of Dead sea water outnumbers your body density, and the water becomes able to push you up and avoids you from sinking.
