I worked in aged care 7 years. As soon as a resident started talking about passed family/friends visiting we knew it wouldn't be long before they joined them. They were always happy to see them. One even begin to introduce us (care staff) to her family. Even a cousin she sort of forgot (they died as a small child). She passed away not even 8 hrs later (my friend worked morning shift. I worked evening shift that day).
