This may seem like a silly question but in a chapter 13, below means debtor, when figuring out your budget do they deduct what you actually pay in taxes? Meaning fica, ss, and Medicare withholdings? And then figure out your disposable income off of what you actually bring home after the government has taken their share? I've read conflicting things and if they figure out your budget before actual taxes paid, that would be ludicrous in my opinion.

So I’ve heard a Chapter 13 stays on your credit for 10 years. So after those 5 years of paying you have 5 more years of it staying on your credit correct?
