Let's talk about a few tips for successfully growing Monstera Deliciosa.😊
✂️ To ensure that the node is cleanly trimmed, cut 1 cm below and above the node with a sharp and clean pruner or knife.
🌱If the stem cuttings are thick and you put them in water right away, they are more likely to absorb more water and rot (i had to throw my cutting last year because of that)
🌱To avoid rot, I recommend that you let the cuts heal or dry out a for couple hours (2-3hr) before putting them in water.
🌱Your cuttings are now ready to go to their temporary home. Pour water over your cutting in a vessel (I used an IKEA clear vessel) until the roots and ends are completely covered.
🔆Place in a bright place, but not directly in the sun, and change the water when it looks cloudy or every 4-6 days. You should start to see roots developing after about 2-3 weeks!
Plant 🪴 your cuttings once the roots have grown a couple of inches long, or wait until fresh leaves appear.
I hope this helps you with Monstera Propagation 🤞🏼. Let me know your propagation questions in the comment below.💚
