Показать описание
The new Outlander PHEV still uses the Mitsubishi-designed Atkinson-cycle 2.4-liter 4cylinder from the previous generation.

Two front motor generators function as a continuously variable automatic transmission. However, one powers the wheels while the other acts as a generator to recapture energy on overrun or braking, using it to recharge the battery. A third electric motor powers the rear axle to provide all-wheel drive, with torque shuffled front to rear as required.

Combining the power of the two electric motors that drive its wheels, power increase to a combined 249 horsepower from 174. Total combined power: 248 hp with peak torque of 332 Lb-Ft.

Estimated:
0-60 mph: 8.0 sec
1/4-Mile: 15.9 sec
Top Speed: 105 mph

Tested model:

You had it in "Charge" mode or does it go there automatically when you select "Power" mode?

Cold weather maybe hinders performance? It seems slower than other tests I’ve seen. Power mode should get about 7 seconds. Some claim 6.5. This test seems more like 8

I have a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and it's better than this new one.
