Yes, there are a lot of gravel bikes out there and pretty much every big bike company is producing them. That being said, these five smaller companies are doing it exceptionally well. All of these companies have a few things in common, they all make some incredible gravel bikes and they all have top notch customer service.

Love my Lauf True Grit, and also Lauf’s support of so many grassroots gravel events

Other than Lauf, all brands are setting ridiculous price when you can get the same bike for probably half of the price from Canyon or TCR

Allied Able seems cool, for sure. But for something truly different check out the Priority Apollo bike - how different? It’s the first ever (as far as I’m aware) drop bar belt-drive gravel with internal gearing. As someone who’s broke a derailer in the middle of nowhere MO in a bike packing trip you’ll never miss getting rid of it

I am good friends with the regional Lauf rep. He was my mechanic for years until he made the move. GREAT rides.

Should check out this company called Franco out of California. Bikes are made in Italy, they started with road bikes but have ventured into Gravel with the Grimes and are looking at a new race geometry specced gravel bike with the Sycamore. I only heard about them after buying a used all-carbon Franco Balcom. Based on my road bike, I'd say they're good rides, and the build quality is customizable.

Nice vid. Otso looks rad and you have a dealer here in KC. Those Rodeos are ridiculously cool as well.

Considering Vroomen was founding member of Cervelo, I'm not surprised Open bikes are so good!

Ordered a Rodeo in March. However, due to the worldwide shortages of EVERYTHING, still haven't got it. I ain't mad, tho. I've been in regular communication with Rodeo, and they've been great.

Too expensive... if i were rich i would buy a Moots Baxter :) since i'm not rich i'm thinking of Bombtrack Hook Ext or Rondo Bogan

No gravel bike or any bike for that matter should have pressfit bb's. That's the 2nd thing i hate about open cycles 1st being their price.

I have always thought the OPEN bikes are the best looking around.

Truly appreciate this very informative video... (in spite of the...annoying... background music).

OPEN threatened to sue Hambini.
That tells me everything I need to know about them.
