For when a horn just won't cut it: a missile launcher built into the bars and a flame retardant jersey and helmet.

So when a bus pulls out of a road right in front of you, you fire the missile, blow up the bus and ride straight through the fireball (where moments ago there was the offending bus) completely unscathed, on to set a pb on Strava!

I'm not sure if this is a thing yet, but it should be so keep an eye out on kickstarter!

I have a Delta Air Zound air horn. You charge it by filling the air canister with a schrader pump. It is LOUD! People look around wondering where that loud blast came from, thinking, "That couldn't have come from that bicycle." The air canister does use one of your water bottle  cages. There is an option to attach it to one of the tubes with velcro.

One criticism I've seen of the Hornit that has me worried is that drivers don't always respond to the high DB buzzing sound, just because it's not a sound they're trained to listen for while driving.

I can't live without a Take A Look rear mirror. It clips on your sunglasses. A little neck rotation lets you see the full width of the road behind you.

Spurcycle bell has made riding on shared paths much more pleasureable, not to mention people can hear it from inside their car. It's the only accessory I'd consider essential to my commute.

I really love the eagle creek pack-it garment folder. A similar idea to Matt's magazine and plastic bag, it keeps my clothes wrinkle-free on my 20 mile commute. Since it weighs less than a magazine, I guess you could consider it aero. Another cool accessory is North St.'s backpack/pannier combination bags.

Bluetooth Bone Conduction headphones, for listening to the cycling podcast et al when out on a ride. Ears totally free and clear to hear traffic whilst catching up on podcasts or listening to music. I love them.

I have a dynamo on my front wheel which powers up a GPS tracker in my headset. I can also use the dynamo to charge my phone while riding and I think it's absolutely fantastic :) #gcnhack

The leather handle is so simple, what a great idea.

Maybe it already exists, but power generation should be a lot easier and cheaper imo. I don't understand why bike lights still need batteries when they're literally on a human powered generator.
