Similarity of Matrix Representations - Mathematics - Linear Algebra - TU Delft

When computing a matrix-vector product it is nice if the matrix you are using is easy to work with. But what if this is not the case? Sometimes it is a good idea to switch to a similar matrix: a different matrix with more or less the same behaviour as the original one.
