Great sounds! As of older amps, it's a solid state, but I really did like those old Sunn Beta Leads, but also those old Laney Supergroups too.

I can't EVER get enough of my 1970s Acoustic 450 Head through an ampeg 810, gets looooud and dirty
close second being my 67 Bassman 50 with a master volume mod for guitar

I figured I’d always be left coveting that classic Green Amp sound…until now.

From to the artwork to how responsive this pedal is in so many different scenarios is bitchin! It’s great clean but I’m gain glutton, so running the pedal through the effects return is definitely my preference.

You make super versatile circuits that are awesome!

I just got mine. Looking forward to running it in parallel with my Gremlin Ceremonial (Sunn Model T) preamp and slamming them with various boosts and drives to see what sounds best. Thanks for making such rad pedals.

I like that pedal and i have been thinking of buying an Orange OR-120 inspired preamp pedal for my pedal board.
My favorite vintage amps are the Vox AC-30 and Traynor YBA-1A MKII.
I own a newer AC-30 and it is a fun amp and takes dirt and pedals well when you know how to work with it.
I've borrowed a Traynor YBA but didn't scoop it up when i had the chance. I bet with the board that i have now that is more focused on stacking gain it would be a monster with a 2x15 or 4x12 cabinet.

dont own any vintage amps, im a modern high gain guy (engl, mesa) but i love my doom and and my fuzz pedals. im thinking about getting the fet120 to run as a preamp into my KSR PA50!

Oh man, I've been waiting for a pedal like this.

It sounds good at any point in the chain, but I think it sounds most amp like going into the effects loop return/power amp.

I think I liked the pedal run clean and into the dirty channel equally.. they were different but both ways sounded uniquely good

I liked the pedal into the clean channel and as a preamp the best...but the AORs dirt channel already is super heavy sounding and needs no dirt pedal in front of it.
Love your setup as I use a guitar with Bareknuckle pickups and a Laney AOR head with an AOR 2x12 (loaded with Jensen Electric Lighning speakers).

Sounded best to me as preamp, as for my favorite vintage amp... probably Ampeg V2/4, I have an early (non master volume) V2 in Boston. Not that I am in Boston, or it is currently working, but it's something. Watching from the Netherlands.
