I am showing you the process I use to build my 3D Naturalistic Backgrounds. This particular enclosure is a bioactive setup for my Banana Calico Ball Python. In this Do It Yourself How To Guide on building backgrounds for a snake enclosure, I walk you through the process of applying the Great Stuff Foam all the way through to moving in the ball python. The lil bug crawling across the top of the tank around 5:00 like "Dayum, thanks for the new digs!" XD

Beautiful! I love how this tuned out! It's so great to see climbing opportunities for a BP, too- I know not every BP likes to climb, but many do, so it's nice to give them the option. Frank is a gorgeous snake! Gotta love the banana morph. 🥰

Yay!!! A snake video! I fully believe that most who start out as snake people cross over to tarantulas at some point and vice versa. 🕷🐍

So relaxing to see Frank in the new enclosure! It would be really cool if you at some point just made a video with footage of your animals that we could just chill to and admire them if we can't or don't have them for ourselves. Great build!

This was great! I did something similar for my leopard gecko, Mowgli. Your cork bark idea helped me because I will be setting up a garter snake pair enclosure this month! I wish my ball python liked climbing so that I could something like what you made for yours.
Thank you for all you do!

This is awesome, absolutely love it. Wouldn't hate a version with just you talking and being even more detailed throughout the process, rather than the music, but beggars can't be choosers.

Will definitely use this video to help with rehousing my growing ball pythons this year.

Great job. Finally an enclosure for snake. Not to many on here. 😊

Oh wow I never see ball pythons in bioactive setups because people think they're a more arid species. But they live in termite mounds in the wild which are pretty humid so they'd do fine in a bioactive setup in captivity as long as the soil isn't damp.

Awesome build! I have a banana bp myself named Monty (the Python) and am looking forward to him getting a bit bigger so I can build him an enclosure like this. Your videos have been greatly helpful, and I've been going through them near-religiously for tips, tricks, and ideas. Keep up the good work!

Nice job on this one. I really like the background substrate in your build, most people just use plain coco fiber and I can't stand that look since it lacks a lot of detail.

Nice to see another ball python build video on YT since there don't seem to be too many naturalistic ball python setups out there. Currently working on a 4x2x2 setup and have had a rough time trying to see how most people do it and whether or not the methods they use actually work or not. I'm finding that there's a reason most people don't do this with ball pythons.
