I really enjoyed this video!!! First you are beautiful and your voice is perfecto in tone. Some of the other videos while good, their tone makes it tumultuous to get through!

The way you explained AND demonstrated the process made it so simple for me! I am waiting for my Keto meter to arrive and was confused as to how to use it. Others stress not using the urine strips method and to purchase the meter for a more accurate blood reading, but don't really explain how to test or read the meter.

It's funny how you spoke on having brain fog, my issue exactly. I am hopeful now listening to your experience.

I just found you and already enjoying your videos!! I am testing my blood glucose because I'm insulin resistant/pre-diabetic but not for ketones...yet...but may do that in the near future. Fasting readings are no where I want them to be but I still have about 20 lbs to lose. I will focus on limiting my carbs and not adjust to net carbs. That and having low carb snacks, etc. are some of my downfall. How do I get to your blog? Everything I click on sends me to videos instead. Thanks for much for sharing your inspirational journey!!

Do you now or in the past count anything other than carbs? Calories, Fat, Protein? If so, how did you arrive at a number for you? Calculator? Do you count whole carbs or net? What about sugar alcohols? I have put myself in a downright hissy fit over this and landed with a .2 lbs loss this week. I started low carb, high protein, moderate fat but thought keto would be better and now I feel like I've mucked it up. HELP, please. If this is on your blog, just say so and I'll seek it out. Just found you today and haven't been able to spend any time there but I will. Also, so glad to have found another 50-something!! I do love these 20, 30, 40s ketoers.. they are AWESOME and so inspirational but 50 is a whole different ballgame!! Thanks for sharing your journey!

This product with the strips IS a bit pricey. But listening to you, makes me think it just might be worth it. You mentioned you purchased the strips from Canada. Would you share the web site? Thanks. Keep up the good work!

I like you have been heading towards diabetes since I had my A1c taken in 2016. I was right on the borderline for diabetes. I've been on a keto diet since the end of July 2016. I don't measure all the time but my blood glucose measures have still been high with the highest at 123. My ketones have been low and high. .08 to 3.3. I'm so scared, I don't want to get diabetes. Can you tell me how long it was before your blood glucose went down to normal..below 100? Thanks.

Have you tried the Ketonix breath analyser? I’m asking because with it there are
No ongoing costs. But I don’t see many referring to it.

If u continue to feed it after the beep when all the bars has shown up as the manual says would that way give u a higher number?

Did you start out using the ketone urine strips, Casey?

I have a glucose meter, but am not really in a position to buy the Precision dual monitor. Would you say there is a significant difference, other than the fact that the blood test is spot-on accurate while the urine test is more general? Thanks for any input. :)

How many months did it take for you to get your fasting blood sugar down in the 70's? I've been on the Ketogenic WOE for 9 months and can't seem to get mine below an 85. And I don't drink any alcohol. My weight, however, is down about 43 lbs.

Hi Casey, i just read about this topic in your blog. There you write, that "It is widely accepted that a reading of 1.5 - 3.0 is the sweet spot for nutritional ketosis." So my question is, what if the reading is about 6 or 6.4 (the highest i have seen on my little computer thingy)? Is this somehow dangerous?

Thank you for this informative video. I eat for about 7 weeks hclf, in the morning i eat 2-3 eggs in butter (2 tbs)with a slice of smoked salmon, for lunch a salad with fish or feta cheese and in the evening something warm( vegetables, mostly greens, with chicken thighs and fat( coconutmilk, or butter) . And i eat everyday some chocolate 99%, i drink a lot of water 3 liter a day. The problem is, i only lost almost 2 kg( 4 pounds). What i am doing wrong? Greetings from germany, love your channel
